About Orie Falconer

I was born one fateful day on December 31st, 1988.

The doctor on hand described the scene as "The most grossest thing I ever saw! What the heck is that THING?!", at which point everyone discovered my father was not a doctor and actual medical staff were brought in. Once trained professionals with stronger stomachs had stepped in they came to a dull conclusion: That I was a normal human boy with a predicatble human future. They all believed this, except one man. Okay two men basically, as my father continued to pace back and forth in the hallway puzzled as to how he and his wife had given birth to a squid. The other man believed something else entirely. He believed I had a specific destiny. A calling. A purpose that would drive me to create and participate in the coolest medium of art and entertainment the world would ever come to know.

This man was not a doctor.

He was a time traveling visionary (maybe)!

Ever since I was young I have been fascinated by video games. The excitement and raw emotion it conveyed to me, even in it's earliest stages was something that affected me throughout the years, something I wanted to bring to others for generations to come. I enrolled in the Univerity of Ontario Institute of Technology for Game Development & Entrepreneuership and quickly found myself at home in the environment of game design. My fellow aspiring students became some of the best collaborators and some of the greatest friends I could ask for. Even in those earliest of days I couldn't help but feel like we were part of something big, and even through the stress and hard work I loved every minute of every project we worked on.

And now here we are, dear reader, in the present. Well, sort of. I mean I'm sitting here writing this right now but, like...I'm not writing this in real time as you read it or anything. That would be weird, right? Yeah that'd be pretty messed up, like 'Minority Report' messed up. You ever see that movie? Tom Cruise has a pool with psychic people in it. Also timecops! Its crazy!

OH! Right! This is the about page. Okay so yeah basically I'm a University graduate who loves writing, making games and motion capture suits. Do you feel the same way? Are you an awesome company that craves for talented, motivated people? Did you keep the browser open even after we started discussing Tom Cruise movies that aren't Top Gun or Days of Thunder?

Lets work together and create something amazing.
